What’s Included in Your Enerus Heat Pump Quote
Our quote covers everything needed for an efficient, MCS-certified heat pump installation. If you’d like additional upgrades—such as extra radiators, a water cylinder upgrade, or a solar diverter—these will come at an extra cost. We’ll discuss all options with you after your survey.
Survey & Additional Works
During your survey, we’ll assess if any extra work is required to get your home heat-pump-ready. These costs aren’t included in your initial quote, but we’ll guide you through the process to ensure everything is taken care of. Below are some common factors that may incur additional costs:
🔨 Groundworks & Site Preparation – Any necessary work to prepare the areas for your heat pump and cylinder.
☣️ Asbestos Removal – If required, asbestos testing is included in your quote. However, if asbestos is found, we’ll connect you with a specialist for removal. A clean air test will be needed before installation can proceed.
🏡 Planning Permission – Some homes require planning permission, with costs typically ranging from £250 – £330, depending on location.
🛠️ Scaffolding – Sometimes scaffolding is needed for a safe installation, which can cost between £800 – £1,000.
🏗️ Structural Surveys & Loft Upgrades – If your cylinder is being installed in a loft, a structural survey will be required before proceeding.
⚡ Fuse or Service Upgrades – Your local Distribution Network Operator may recommend upgrades before installation.
🔧 Installation Upgrades – If you’d like enhancements beyond our standard design—such as a water cylinder upgrade, a solar diverter, or additional radiators—these will be at an extra cost. We only install Enerus-approved hardware to ensure the highest quality.
