4. Ordering and Purchasing Process

  • Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and are subject to change following the pre-installation survey.
  • Once an order is placed, customers will receive an order confirmation via email.

4.2 Selecting an Appropriate Product

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to select a suitable heat pump based on property requirements. Enerus Limited provides guidance, but final selection remains the customer’s decision.
  • If the selected product is unsuitable after the pre-installation survey, Enerus Limited reserves the right to recommend an alternative.

4.3 Pre-Installation Surveys

  • All orders are subject to a mandatory pre-installation survey to assess the site and verify the feasibility of the installation.
  • If any additional work or changes are required based on the survey, Enerus Limited will provide a revised quote for customer approval before proceeding.

5. General Terms

5.1 Communication with Customers

  • All communication regarding orders, installations, and support will be conducted via email, phone, or through our website.
  • Customers must provide accurate contact details and respond to requests for information in a timely manner.

5.2 Respect Towards Enerus Employees and Representatives

  • Enerus Limited expects respectful and professional interactions between customers and company representatives. Abusive or inappropriate behavior may result in service refusal.

5.3 Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or financing options if available.
  • A deposit may be required before installation, with final payment due upon completion.

6. Installation

6.1 Our Obligation to You

  • Enerus Limited will ensure all installations meet Gas Safe and MCS regulations.
  • Installations will be carried out by qualified professionals.
  • We will notify customers of installation schedules and requirements.

6.2 Your Obligation to Us

  • Customers must provide accurate information about their property.
  • Access to the installation site must be granted at the scheduled time.
  • Any pre-existing issues affecting installation (e.g., faulty wiring or pipework) must be resolved prior to installation.

6.3 Permits and Permissions

  • Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions from landlords, local authorities, or other relevant bodies before installation begins.
  • Enerus Limited will provide documentation where necessary to assist with permit applications.

6.4 Inspection of Site

  • A site inspection will be conducted before installation to confirm feasibility.
  • If any issues arise during inspection, Enerus Limited reserves the right to amend the quote or cancel the order with a refund.

6.5 The Installation Process

  • Installers will follow strict guidelines to ensure a safe and effective heat pump installation.
  • Customers must be present or provide access to their property on the installation date.

6.6 General Installation Terms

  • Installations are subject to weather and other unforeseen conditions.
  • If additional work is required due to property conditions, customers will be informed and quoted for any extra costs.

7. Post-Installation

7.1 Warranties, Guarantees, and Compliance Documentation

  • Upon completion, customers will receive compliance documentation and warranty details.
  • Manufacturer warranties and our workmanship guarantee apply as stated in the documentation provided.

7.2 Maintaining Warranties and Guarantees

  • To maintain both product and workmanship warranties/guarantees, the heat pump must be serviced and inspected annually.
  • Enerus Limited can assist with annual servicing, or customers may use any trained and qualified MCS-certified engineer.

7.3 Repairs Outside of Warranty/Guarantee

  • If repairs are required beyond the coverage of the warranty or guarantees provided at purchase, the following fees apply:
    • £95 + VAT callout fee
    • £60 + VAT per additional hour
    • Parts cost + 25% + VAT
  • Callout payments may be required in advance before an engineer is dispatched.

8. Warranty and Aftercare

  • Heat pumps come with manufacturer warranties. The length and terms of the warranty vary by product.
  • Enerus Limited provides a workmanship guarantee for installations.
  • Customers are responsible for regular maintenance as outlined in the user manual.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Enerus Limited is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use, third-party modifications, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.
  • Liability is limited to the cost of the product and installation services.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law.
